Chef Leonardi was hired at Johnson & Wales in 1999. He has served as instructor, worked with the military and other organizations for contract training, and developed recipes for the College of Culinary Arts. Most recently, in 2003, he was named Department Chair of Culinary Arts; Associate of Science Degree. Chef Leonardi is a member of the American Culinary Federation, Research Chefs and IACP. He has participated in the Culinary Olympics and coached the Student Culinary Team. During the year of 2006, Chef Leonardi was certified as an Executive Chef and Culinary Educator through the American Culinary Federation. He also earned a spot on the A.C.F.’s Culinary Team. With this team, he will compete in various locations internationally for two years; through the year 2008.
