NSO Students Selected to Speak at Commencement

Special congratulations to NSO students, Thu Dinh Minh Tran (Aimee) and Josephine Wolfe (Josie) on being chosen to speak at commencement.

Aimee has a great story and will be speaking at the morning graduation. She competed at DECA’s ICDC starting her freshman year and placed 2nd in the world. She also participated in the ENGAGE conference in New York City where she networked with Equity Residential, a DECA National Advisory Board company that went on to offer her an internship and ultimately a professional position after graduation.

Josie will be speaking at the afternoon session. Her commitment to SkillsUSA began on the high school level. As a JWU student, she served on the Rhode Island SkillsUSA state board and successfully ran for national office. Her peers selected her to serve in the collegiate president position. In this role, Josie has represented JWU at numerous SkillsUSA events and spoken at national conferences.

Both of these women have demonstrated the benefits of NSO involvement and we are confident that they will continue to make us proud as JWU alumni.
